Intrinsic Value is the stark opposite of Instrumental Value, demanding that one
considers other life-forms as they would theirselves rather than as simple creatures with no form of sentience.

By regarding people through their intrinsic value, you are bound to respect their feelings and act around them in a humane fashion. In accordance to Rule Utilitarianism, this puts further questions onto the lack of morality in Bentham's Act Utilitarianism.
